Longevity
In the late 1960's, my father bought a new JC Penney lawn mower. It lasted through his lifetime and I am still using it weekly. I change the oil every spring, clean the carb occassionally, and clean the air filter when it starts to run a bit rich. The only "major" work I've done to it is a set of points in the early 2000's and carb gaskets a few years ago. It is the mower that I can count on to start every spring and get through that thick first cutting of grass. Thanks Dad for a great choice of mowers!
