Why is my engine hard to start the first start of the day?
I have a brand new Husqvarna riding mower with a 22hp Endurance Series V-twin engine. It is very hard to start the first time I start it for the day. Ambient Temps are in the 60 degF. Fuel is new. Dealer prepped the mower before delivering to my home. Once the mower is started the first time, it runs great and any re-starts are easy. I don't want to burn up the starter, but the starting seems to be very hard (way harder than it should be). Please advise if there is something that I should do. Would a higher octane rated gas help? If I new the engine would have been this hard to start, I would have got the Kawasaki motor.
