staring the best and built the best.

I bought the engine from my neighbor in may of 2011. He bought it from sear about 2 years ago. the mower sat for about 2 year after the doc. said you need to stop mowing. The engine has a starter that i never use. I mow grass for my business. I do not prime of choke the engine. I just pull the cord one time and the engine firers. Two months after i bought the push mower i hit a stomp and bent the crankshaft but did not break the flywheel key. the engine was quite easy to tare down and rebuild with a new crankshaft.
Smart as they come

How do I start the engine?

I purchased the Weed eater 190 cc 26 " WE1 this spring. I have operated it about 6 times all summer. This week it will not start. Sounds like gas is not getting to the carb. There is no pump to prime the gasline. But if a tip the lawn mower and set it back down the engine will start for a few moments and then stop.
I belive it is time to tune that up and put new gas I always < winterize> my equipment. Whenever it is going to sit for a while !
