mower wont start

troy bilt model tb110- briggs and stratton motor 550ex seral # re00 0003 83753. unit ran yesterday then today t ran for for a minute and woud not start. tried to clean plug ad put fresh gas still no start, its getting fuel to carb. not sure how to check spark thanks any help in checking this problem will help have a feeling its the coil just not sure of proper test prosedure. unit is only 3 month old
