The plastic drain tube unlocked and I lost all oil. The connecting rod broke, rebuilt. Then the muffler came loose and ruined it and the bolts.
A piece of the governor broke and shot a bullet hole through the case and all oil sprayed out the hole.
Very expensive Jayzee zero turn with the engine behind so I can not see things while oil goes all over the grass.
Nothing but trouble and money just after the warranty was up.
I should get a new engine free.
ConsNoisy, too fragile
No, I do not recommend this product.

the oil leaked out of my 17 Hp B&S Intek engine (Ariens EZR 1742 mower) and the engine seized. What can I do?

It is the plastic oil drain that will vibrate open. I replaced mine with a brass tube and petcock after rebuilding the engine.
I rebuilt my engine after the connecting rod broke.
