I had a Champion 'ordinary' grade plug in my small Briggs engine that powers a piece of shop equipment. It was always touchy about starting, often taking a dozen or more pulls. As soon as I put this premium plug in, the starting became easy, second pull every time. What a difference a spark plug makes! Just beware that the gap 'out-of-the-bag' is wrong. You need to re-gap it before installing.

What is the Gap set at on this plug out of the package?
The gap on mine was about .040, so I had to reduce it to the required .030. As a general rule, you can NEVER count on the out-of-package gap on any spark plug to be correct for the engine it is going into. You ALWAYS have to re-gap it.
