Have Husquavana YTH2348 with B&S 23HP/724cc INTEK/V-Twin OHV engine, mfg date 03/09. Cranked & ran fine for 1st year owned but problems since. Dealers & independent shop cannot locate problem to fix. After reading reviews on this engine looks like it has problems. Have noticed cranks OK if level or front is up hill but if not it will crank initially but won't run. After coming back from shop, where it cranks fine since property is level but comes back and same problems appear when tring to mow my back yard, where terrain isn't level. Going downhill OK but cuts sputters & cuts off goind upgrade. Believe this might be a valve issue but dealer mainly does routine service (plugs, filters, etc# as doesn't seem to act up when there. Either fuel pump, choke or compression #valve). Can you advise?? If not, what would be compatiable Honda engine as replacement??
