One durable machine
I've owned a lot of B&S engines. I still have most of them. Some are more than Forty years old. The ones that I have had to repair were usually because someone really messed up (hitting rocks, tree stumps, I even straightened a crank shaft three times on the same machine because the owner couldn't remember where the cast iron water shutoff was in his yard!) The only thing I had to do was replace oil seals (just as a precaution). The machine went another ten years last I heard when I got out of the small engine repair biz. Briggs and Stratton engines don't just rock, they eat 'em!
