Purchased this at Lowe's Canada - Best purchase I have ever made considering I live in Barrie, Ontario (Snow - Alley). It starts first pull every time. Moves all kinds of snow with ease - both heavy wet and light and fluffy. I would recommend this engine blower combination to anyone.
ProsEasy to assemble, Quiet, first pull start, electric start, heavy snow - no problem, no cons :)

noisy engine

Are there any mufflers that can reduce the noise of my snow thrower? It has a B & S 1150 engine. The stock muffler doesn't seem to be enough for dampening the loud noise.
I wouldn't worry about it. Follow your local noise by-laws and where a warm hat that covers your ears and your good to go. I do not know of any silencer that you can add unless you make one.
