Commercial Turf Engine why only 2 yr warranty

As a consumer I definitely look to a manufactures warranty as to their own confidence in the product. The b&s commercial turf series engine has alot going for it and I am rooting for its success however to truly be a contender in the commercial market against the Vanguard and Kawasaki engines and to promote confidence to consumers the commercial turf series needs a 3 yr warranty just like the other 2 power houses in the commercial market or I think consumers may opt for letting someone else be the guinea pig for this new line. So Briggs why does the comm turf series only have a 2 year warranty and not a 3 yr as the others do???
