Spark plug Champion RJ2YLE (briggs part 799876)

I purchased a Snapper mower with this engine from Costco. The plug wet fouled within a couple of runs. The plug was a Champion RJ2YLE. When I went to replace it I found you can't buy it anywhere but online. Upon further research online, this is a VERY common problem. Is there a replacement plug for this mower? I get tired of seeing the Briggs replies as simply being "just buy a new plug". The Snapper dealer can't find it either.
