Shaft specifications 121Q02-2025-F1

I'm getting mixed information , pertaining to the key way slot dimension.
Northern tool gives a 3\16" dimension and Briggs reps say 1\4"
This is the only reason I have not purchased this engine .
And why is this dimension not being provided.
121Q02-2025-F1 is the exact Engine I need and wan't for replacement,
but the key way in the old engine is 1\4" ?
