Manual

I attempted to download a manual and when asked for the model number I copied off the tag 120212052888. When I entered the number it would not accept it.
The engine is a 850 series.
I bought a used Troy Built Chipper and Sredder and there is a loose wire coming out of the back of the engine. It has a covered female plug but I can not find where it attaches or what it does.
The operator's manual that came with the machine is for the model 90000 and model 100000 and it is not much help.
