Fuse always blows, can the EFM be the culprit?

I have checked everything on the tractor (Craftsman Excellerator 28 HP Briggs Pro twin with EFM): ignition switch, solenoïd, wires that may have melted on the engine, wires that may have been cut by the frame somewhere,... Now I am lost. As soon as I disconnect the wires to the EFM, the fuse don't burn anymore. Can the EFM be the culprit? The tractor is 3 years old. Help please!! I heard something about a recall on EFM module on these engines, is it true?
I'm having the same problem, the fuse pops as soon as you turn the key, right? If that's the case It is the EFM. I had one replaced within the first month after I bought the tractor and now that one failed too. I am looking for an alternate source. Good luck!
